5 Things To Do This National Day

Holidays are memorable when spent outside!

In UAE, the National UAE Day will kick off this December 1-3 for government sectors and Dec 1-2 for private sectors.  So for all us UAE residence, it is a perfect time to relax, unwind our soul and, of course, time to travel! On this article, we give you amazing things to do and where to go this holiday with family and friends!
1. Indulge yourself in the beach

Nothing beats the water from the beach especially the heat is no longer unbearably hot. Why not splash and dive to the nearest beach to you-like in Jumeirah Public Beach. Plus, enjoy the perfect view of the iconic hotel Burj Al Arab.  So do not forget to strike a pose!

2. Discover the Old Souqs

If you’re an old school, get lost to the old souqs (souq means “market” in Arabic) in Bur Dubai. Go back in time in the old Dubai and discover the old market with traditional things like clothes, ornaments and different awesome souvenirs.

3. Dubai Canal
No need to go in Venice Italy to experience the famous river ride. The newly opened Dubai Water Canal is an artificial canal unveiled on 2 October 2013 and inaugurated on 9 November 2016. It comprises one shopping centre, four hotels, 450 restaurants, luxury housing, walkways and cycle paths. Plus, you can ride ferry boats and cruise along on the canal with the spectacular view of Dubai Skyline.

4. IMG Worlds of Adventure
The newly opened indoor theme park is the world’s largest and that in itself is worth a visit or two. There are exciting attractions and rides, some of which are inspired by loved characters from Marvel and Cartoon Network while others like the Haunted Hotel (you have to find the exit from a maze of corridors as you get side-tracked by scary creatures) and Lost Valley (based on the pre-historic world of dinosaurs) are interesting and new ones to try.

5. Or Just Sit back, relax and Movie Time!
If you just want to lay in bed and enjoy the whole day inside your comfort zone, why not enjoy a movie marathon! Get a handful of hot pop-corn and start browsing to your movie list!
